đ Join the Course & Our Nomad TribeWhy This Course Exists
For most of us, faith has been shaped by settled life â buildings, institutions, and fixed places. But much of Scripture unfolded among shepherds, clans, and communities on the move, learning to trust God together in changing landscapes.Â
Let Nomads Move You is an invitation to rediscover Scripture through nomadic eyes â and to rethink what it means to belong, believe, and follow the Shepherd today.
This short video shares the heart behind the course and the journey weâre inviting you into.
đ§ 1. See Scripture with New Eyes
Discover how the Bible comes alive when you read it through the lived experience of nomadic peoples â from Abraham to Jesus.Â
đ 2. Understand Cultures the West Often Misses
Learn how nomadic and clan-based societies think, move, and relate â and why this changes everything about faith, community, and mission.
đ 3. Join a Learning Tribe, Not Just a CourseÂ
Walk this journey with a diverse community of fellow learners and nomadic voices, guided by stories, discussion, and shared discovery.

This Journey Is For You IfâŚ
-
Youâve ever wondered what it was really like to walk with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, or Jesus â not as distant figures, but as people formed by pastoral and nomadic worlds.
-
Youâre curious how shepherds, clans, tents, flocks, and journeys shaped the way Scripture was first heard and lived.
-
Maybe youâve even studied the best â in Bible college, seminary, commentaries, and classic books like A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 or Kenneth Baileyâs The Good Shepherd â but you sense there is still more to discover.Â
-
You want to go beyond descriptions of Biblical people and begin learning from people who still live these worlds today.Â
-
Youâre open to being changed by what you encounter, not just informed.Â
This Journey May Not Be a Fit IfâŚ
-
Youâre satisfied with second-hand explanations of ancient life.
-
You prefer to keep Scripture safely inside academic or Western frameworks.Â
-
Youâre not interested in letting real people and cultures reshape how you read the Bible.
-
Youâre looking for quick answers rather than a slower, deeper journey.

Meet Your Nomad Guide
For over three decades, Iâve been walking alongside nomadic and pastoralist communities across Asia, Africa, and beyond â not as an expert standing above them, but as a learner invited into their world.
Early on, Gujjar shepherds once asked me if I had come to convert them. I told them, âNo â I came here to be converted by you.â
That moment changed everything.
Since then, Iâve lived among nomads, raised my family in their communities, and worked alongside them in translation, storytelling, and faith â discovering again and again how deeply their lives echo the world of Abraham, David, and Jesus.
Let Nomads Move You! is the fruit of that journey: an invitation to see Scripture, culture, and community through the eyes of people who still live close to the patterns of the Bible.
